i know using cold water will help make it softer and silkier than hot water which just strips away the natural oils in your hair, but what else? what other tips are there to getting more straight hair? oh, does keeping you hair up in a pony tail decrease your chances in getting more straight hair? cuz at school i always keep my hair up...well, 'half up'. like i only tie a little of my hair up and let the rest fall down, since my hair's so thick. so now i'm keeping my hair down whenever i'm not in public lol...what else can i do??? i already got my hair chemically straightened, and blowdrying my hair and straightening it is out of the question. i will never do that.

After you shower use a good conditioner on the wet hair then immediately put it into a pony tail. Then put a couple more bands on the pony so it's tight. Sleep on it then use a curling iron to straighten the last couple bumps from the rubber bands in the morning. Her hair stays silky. Only use wide tooth comb on your hair, never a brush. It works.
