Any tips on growing out my hair?

I'm a guy with curly hair and I want to grow it out but my hair has never been longer than right above my eyes. I want it down to at least right below my shoulders or maybe a little longer. Any tips on how to make it grow faster?

There is a professional product line called Nioxin that helps grow hair faster. My mom has used it before and she has seen good results with her hair, so I would suggest going to a hair salon and taking a look there for it.

Also, while you want your hair to grow longer and faster, you also gotta take into account the upkeep of it. You should get your hair trimmed every couple of months to keep the ends fresh and prevent split ends and frizzy hair. If you keep the ends of your hair fresh it will be in a much better condition and the oxygen will also help it grow healthier. While this may cause it to take a little bit longer to grow out to the length you want, in the end you will have healthy hair rather than split ends and frizz hanging down your back if you don't keep your hair trimmed.

You will also, in the long run, will have to switch shampoos to keep your hair in good condition. Longer hair is harder to take care of than shorter hair. Keep that in mind. Especially if you have curly hair. You will most likely need a hydrating shampoo and conditioner to put moisture into your hair that curly hair tends to lose quickly. And feel free to consult with your hairdresser for more tips that they may have. Good luck ^.^

When women are pregnant, the doctor prescribes prenatal vitamins and their hair %26amp; nails grows like crazy. A good multivitamin is the same. Also, I've heard Biotin grows your hair fast, but I've not personally tried that one. I have used the vitamins, though. My hair is halfway down my back. It's grown 12" in 2 years.
