You could start with drinking lots of water, eating healthy, and exercising. Take a multivitamin, too.



Lay off the heat and chemicals, and try not to manipulate your hair too much.



Don't put your hair in tight ponytails, and try to switch up the styles so you don't put stress on the same areas of your head.



Make sure you get a trim if your ends are raggedy.



Some of these tips will help with breakage so you can keep the hair once you've grown it out. And BE PATIENT!!!! Hair only grows on average 1/2 inch a month. Don't worry about it, and the next thing you know, your hair is longer.

I'm black and my hair a bit past my shoulders but i use Dr.Miracle's shampoo and Hot gro. it work really well my hair grows so quick and cut ur dead ends and wash it or try to get it done like every two weeks and DO NOT PUT ANY CHEMICALS IN IT. if u have dry hair oil is the key OH and i dont know what those other two are talking about
